How good is this? I’ve just come across a website called www.freebiesource.com that is dedicated to bringing you the drum on Free Stuff. And not just any free stuff, I tell you. The kind of free stuff that you want! Sure, a free purple bean bag picked up from the side of the road on trash night might be nice if you’re a college student, but what about free diet kit samples or free brand name health products. These are pretty good Student Freebies! Check out this site and sign up for the free (there’s that word again) newsletter or RSS feed.
Basically, the way it works is that anyone who has a web based free offer can upload it to the site and make it available to you and I. Some of the Freebies available at the moment are a free duffle bag when signing up for the In Our Town mailing list, free samples of Coffeemate, free installation of a Satellite Dish, Napster and Blockbuster tree trials, Pandora Internet Radio free trials and more.
There are free coupons, free samples and loads of trial offers. When I clicked on the Top Freebie link, the top freebie was a ‘frog’ pacifier lol! I also saw free monitor wipes (I hate it when people poke my screen with their grubby fingers ew) and a free baby care kit.
This site is totally worth check out and signing up to – money is tight for everyone at the moment, so it’s worth spending a bit of time online to find ways to stretch your budget further.

Many people don’t realize that ceiling fans can be used in both winter and summer. In winter, the reverse function that most fans have pushes the warm air that rises to the ceiling back into the room. In summer, a ceiling fan can reduce the temperature by up to 8 degrees Fahrenheit and can save up to 40% on your cooling bills. In fact, a ceiling fan uses less electricity than a 75 watt light globe – a great benefit now that we need to reduce our carbon footprints.
Farreys.com have some great products and their lighting collection is superb. They are a distributor of the Craftmade brand which has built a reputation over the last fifteen years as the manufacturer of one of the sturdiest, dependable and energy efficient ceiling fans on the market. They stock many name brands including Ellington Fans, Hunter Fan Company, Minka Aire fans, NuTone and Westinghouse. Their fan and lighting designs are elegant, unique and affordable. You can search by brand, style, type, finish or price range.
With styles such as retro, period, industrial and low profile, no matter what interior design look you are aiming for check out www.farreys.com and you’ll be sure to find ceiling fans that suit both your decor your budget. Farreys have been bringing you superior service since 1924 and offer a 30 day return service as well as fast, reliable shipping. Check them out today

I hate paying retail and there really is no reason for most of us to do so when it comes to buying electronics and appliances. SecondAct is an online store that sells products by top manufacturers such as Sharp, Marantz, JVC, Toshiba, Denon and many more. So what’s the deal? They are a seconds outlet. They specialise in selling factory refurbished stock, factory close out stock, overstocks, end-of-life products and more. If it can’t be sold in a retail outlet because it’s slightly shop worn, package damaged or has been superseded by a brand new model, you’ll find it here. You can check out their excellent feedback at shopzilla or shopping.com. They also offer a ‘Great Deal of The Day’ that gives additional discounts on a particular item for a 24 hour period. You’ll see the new item appear at 7am.
