The Power Of Diamond Pendant Necklaces
November 25, 2008 9:36 am diamonds, jewelryThe other night I could not sleep so I was flipping through the channels on the television when I made an interesting observation. There are a lot of channels dedicated to selling jewelry. I am not talking about the home shopping channels that sell jewelry and other things all day long. I am talking about the fact that there is more than one channel on my satellite television service that sells just jewelry twenty four hours a day seven days a week. I cannot imagine that they get great ratings but while I was flipping around the channels I happened upon one of the jewelry channels that was selling a diamond pendant necklace. Even I had to stop and watch this one.
In my opinion necklaces are some of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry available. A diamond pendant necklace is probably at the top of the necklace category. There are very few pieces of jewelry that I will take an instant interest in as soon as I see them but I will always stop to check out a diamond pendant necklace. I remember many years ago when my brother worked for a retail jeweler in our local mall. We lived in a small town so expensive pieces of jewelry were always a tough sell, but I will always remember the $50,000 diamond pendant necklace sitting in the glass case in the corner of the store. The stone was cut into the shape of a teardrop and it was on a beautiful gold chain.
Beauty Hanging From A Lady’s Neck
In this day and age of rappers with gold and diamond bling, and metro-sexual males wearing some outwardly feminine accessories, I still think that the best place for a diamond pendant necklace is around the neck of a lady. When I can afford to I love to get my wife some form of a diamond pendant necklace. For her birthday this year I got her a gold and diamond cross pendant that is suspended from a nice thick gold chain. My wife has always wanted a cross necklace and I felt that if she is going to get a gold cross then it is going to have diamonds in it as well. I am not sure if that makes me the kind of husband that spoils his wife but I can tell you that that kind of thinking sure makes for one happy wife.
